Candidates seeking admission to government and grant-in-aid Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) can now apply online from e-Gram, Jan Seva Kendra, mamlatdar officer or from anywhere with Internet facility after logging in http://portal.gujarat.gov.in, http://itiadmision.guj.nic.in, http://talimrojgar.Org through the online admission form. ફોર્મ ભરવા, માહિતી

According to Director of Employment and Training, candidates can deposit the printout of the two-page online admission form, with passport size photograph and registration fee of Rs.50 at any government or grant-in-aid ITI, for new academic session beginning August-2010. They would be informed through SMS about the merit list rank and the name of the ITI in which to appear personally on a particular date.

They would also be informed about a Toll Free Number and four call centres being set up at Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat and Rajkot. A booklet detailing the list of ITIs and seats availability is sold at ITIs for Rs.25.

The Directorate has also prepared an online database of all candidates having passed HSC and SSC Board examinations during the last five years.

There are total 185 government ITI and 131 granted ITI training centres in Gujarat. The government ITIs are having 52372 seats this year. Total seats in granted ITI centres are 8195.

Instructions

-Fill the online form.

-Get print out of that form in two pages+sign it+fix two passport size photos+go to nearest ITI or industrial training centre and submit your form with Rs 50 registration fee.

-You will be informed about your form’s status, merit no, and date of interview through SMS.

-One state level call centre has been set up.

-There will be more help centres in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Rajkot and Surat.

-Rojgar and Talim Niyamak has all data of the students who passed HSC and SSC board in last five years. Therefore a candidate has to fill just his seat no. and then all needed details will automatically come to the form.

-A guidebook is available for Rs 25 at nearest ITI centre.
