BJP has been victorious on 28 out of total 36 seats of Kadi nagarpalika in north Gujarat’s Mahesana district. Thus the party is all set to rule the local Nagarpalika here. Party’s such performance has become a reason for celebration for party workers in Kadi, even before the election takes place. It should be mentioned that five out of total 28 unopposed BJP winners are Muslims.

According to state BJP spokesperson I.K.Jadeja, party’s four District panchayat candidates, 20 Taluka Panchayat candidates, and 32 Nagarpalika candidates have been declared victorious unopposed, as there was no other contender to challenge them.

Meanwhile in another development, BJP’s woman representative has become new President of Diu, Daman district Panchayat where election was held recently.
