Modi’s fan held for telling Sanjiv Bhatt that he’s doing wrong

Modi’s fan held for telling Sanjiv Bhatt that he’s doing wrong
Ahmedabad, 28 April, 2011

In a very interesting incident, one Ahmedabad based young Narendra Modi’s fan who is Chemical Engineer by profession asked controversial IPS officer Sanjiv Bhatt on his face that ‘you have not done right thing by filing affidavit against Modi.’ This youth was held by Police on Sanjiv Bhatt’s complain. However he was later released.

Controversial IPS Sanjiv Bhatt goes for running every evening at Saint Xavier school ground. On Monday one youth came closer and told Sanjiv Bhatt that ‘you have done wrong thing.’ When Bhatt scolded him and asked to go, that youth again told him the same thing ‘you have done wrong thing by filing affidavit against Shri Modi.’ When Sanjiv Bhatt further scolded him, that youth went away.

But on Tuesday Sanjiv Bhatt again faced same from same young boy. Bhatt therefore informed University Police station about this ‘harassment’. Two policemen placed inside the school ground without uniform caught the youth when he came closer to Bhatt again to tell him that he had done wrong thing.

A 31-year old youth was taken to Police station, where he said that he was Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s fan and he was hurt by Bhatt pointing finger against Mr. Modi wrongly through his affidavit, and therefore he was trying to express what he was feeling strongly.

It should be mentioned that IPS Sanjiv Bhatt has filed an affidavit before the Supreme Court on 19 April with selfstyle claim that he was present in a meeting with the Chief Minister in 2002 in which according to Bhatt the CM told Police to teach lesson to one community.

No one from that meeting is supporting Bhatt’s claim about what Modi said. Also no one from that meeting has confirmed that Bhatt was present in that meeting. However media has created good hype around this episode with the help of Congress party and some NGOs.
