Salman Khan and troubles, this time at Ahmedabad airport
Ahmedabad, 18 May, 2011
Bollywood’s bad boy Salman was hosted by Courtyard by Marriott in Ahmedabad.
Known as ‘bad boy’ of bollywood Salman Khan again created problem. This time the venue was Ahmedabad’s Sardar Patel airport.
Ahmedabad airport is closed between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm for a month due to maintenance of runway. This causes major air traffic and therefore unparalleled crowd of commuters in the evening.
Salman Khan’s private chartered plane landed at Ahmedabad airport at 6:30 pm and he was accompanied by three bouncers from Mumbai. Seven other bouncers joined him at Ahmedabad.
As soon Salman stepped out of the airport, the situation around him became uncontrollable with people in crowd pushing each other towards Salman.
After Salman’s bouncers reacted angrily to the crowd, people pushed one bouncers so much that he felled down. Angry people started heckling him further.
Soon Central Industrial Security Force(CISF) jawans rushed there and rescued Salman’s bouncer. If CISF jawans had not reached there on time, somebody could be injured.
One of the persons present there asked valid question that why every time this happens when Salman Khan is there? There are many other more popular and successful stars in Bollywood and they too visit Ahmedabad, but such things never happen. In past too when Salman Khan was in Ahmedabad, such incidents had happened. During his visit in 2009 to city, Police had to lathicharge the people gathered outside the hotel. Perhaps bad publicity is also publicity, and after all Salman was in Ahmedabad for publicity of his forthcoming film only.
