Monsoon is a period when new fishes born, and therefore it is advisable to avoid fishing according to fishermen.

-Gujarat Maritime Board, Fisheries department, district collectors and Taluka administrations of coastal Gujarat are prepared for any impact of low pressure well-mark in Arabian sea. The government has set up a control room in this regard. Low pressure has not been intensified, but if it intensified, it may convert into depression. As the low pressure system is moving towards Saurashtra and South Gujarat coast, it may bring good amount of shower in coastal Saurashtra on Saturday or Sunday according to officials in state disaster management authority.
