Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Limited (DGVCL), Surat has started process of recruitment of 50 Vidyut Sahayak (Junior Assistant). Actual vacancies are likely to be increased.

Those suitable to apply for these posts must be graduate B.A., B.Com. B.Sc., B.B.A., B.C.A., B.Sc(Agri) or should have graduation in any other discipline from a recognized University with 55% for General and 50% for SC, ST and
SEBC candidates. The knowledge of Computers and English language is required, which shall be assessed by the Company through pre-employment test.

The age limit for applicant is 25 years for General category and 30 years for SC, ST and SEBC category candidates. Relaxation in upper age limit to other categories shall be given.

Fixed remuneration 1st, 2nd and 3rd year would be Rs.5500/-, Rs.6000/- and Rs.6500/- respectively per month. Candidates in 1:10 ratio will be called for the written test from sort listed candidates.

The question paper for written test will comprise 60% objective type questions and 40% descriptive type questions. Area of assessment in Mathematical ability (Higher Secondary General stream level: 25% weightage), English (General drafting and communicative ability:25% weight age), Computer literacy (Should be acquainted and proficient in MS Office like MS Word, Excel & Power Point: 30% weightage) and General knowledge Graduation level : 20% weightage).
