Ahmedabad based construction firm that built Commonwealth stadium, metro stations faces IT raid

Ahmedabad based construction firm that had build indoor stadium for commonwealth games, two elevated station of Delhi metro and other major complexes was today raided by Income Tax department sleuths in Ahmedabad.
JMC Projects India Limited owned by Kalpataru group has constructed complexes and facilities of Infosys, Bajaj, Tatra, Hindusan Motors, Volvo, Maruti, Asian Paints, Nirma, United Phosphorus, Videocon, GE, Welspun, Siemens, Cadila healthcare, Arvind Mills, Bombay Dyeing, Power Grid Corporation, Iborbit mall, Fun Republic, Bank of Baroda, Wipro and IIMA among others.
Construction group’s offices in Prahladnagar area, partner’s bungalow in Satyagrah Chhavni and other premises were raided today morning.
D.R.Mehta, Hemant Modi, Suhas Joshi, Kamal Jain, Manish Manhot, Mahendra G Punatar and Ramesh Sheth are the directors of JMC.
