Morari Bapu to host Asmita Parva 2012 in first week of April


Bhavnagar, 6 March, 2012

Shri Morari Bapu will host the 15th Asmita Parva of year 2012 at Kailash Gurukul in Mahuva, on the bank of Malan river during 3-5 April.

Shri Sam Pitroda will deliver a speech on reforms and science between 3.30-7.00 pm on Tuesday, April.

On first day, during 9.00-12.00 noon Shri VInod Joshi will discuss Jalan Matari and Dalpat Padhiar’s poetry. During 3.30-6.30 pm Jaya Vasavada, Kajal Oza and Sharad Thaker will talk about popular literature in context of youths, women and social concern.

At 8.30 pm classical music instruments will be played in a programme.

Next day during 9-12 noon, Upendra Trivedi, Kamal Mehta and Vasant Gadhvi will conduct a talk on Zaverchand Meghani, Duleray Kalani and Jayamall Parmar. In the evening during 3.30-6.30 pm Rajendra Patel will conduct a discussion on Kanji Patel, Raghuvir Chaudhary and Pannalal Patel’s works.

At 8.30 pm, Ahmedabad’s Manav Sadhna will present ‘Ekatva’ performance at Ramvadi.

On third and last day of Asmita Parva 2012, at 9.00 am Bholabhai Patel will speak on Kavya mimansa poetry and speech, poetry and sound, poetry and ‘ras’.

during 4-6.30: Harish vatavwala, Pradip Rawal ‘Sumiran’, Mira Asif, Dhwanil Parekh, Prashant Kedarjad, Madankumar Anjaria, Harkishan Joshi will speak on ‘Kavyayan’.

8.30:At Chitrakut dham, Pandit Rajan Sajan Mishra and Pandit Anindo Chaterjee will present classical vocal. On the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, Shri Morari Bapu will present Kailash Lalitkala award to Amit Ambalal. While Hanumant award will be presented to Ustad Sultankha, Pandit Anindo Chaterjee, Mrinalini Sarabhai and Pandit Rajan Sajan Mishra. Vahida Rehman, Markand Bhatt, Vinod Nagpal, Balkrushna Nimbark, will get Natraj award.

Aastha channel will telecast the event live.
