Consular officials from the U.S. Consulate General in Mumbai will give a presentation on the H & L (Temporary Workers) on May 2 at 5:00 p.m. and on the B1/B2 (Business and Tourist) visa application process on May 4 at 12:00 p.m., in Ahmedabad. These events will be hosted at the Ahmedabad Management Association, is free of charge and open to the public. We also encourage travel agents and associations to attend.
These sessions are designed to help our customers understand the simple and easy way for credible and legitimate visa applicants to get to the United States. The H & L visa session is an interactive outreach for prospective and current employers as well as potential H & L visa applicants living in Ahmedabad.
The B1/B2 visa is for persons seeking to enter the United States temporarily for business (B-1) or for pleasure, tourism or medical treatment (B-2.) International travelers with visitor visas comprise a large portion of temporary visitor travel to the United States every year. U.S. Consulate General Mumbai processed approximately 125,000 B1/B2 visas last year. The session also will provide tips on how to avoid being victimized by fraud or immigration scams.
These presentations will be held at the Seminar Hall, American Corner, Ahmedabad Management Association, ATIRA Campus, Dr. Vikram Sarabhai Marg, IIM Road, Vastrapur, Ahmedabad 380015. Space is limited, those interested in attending the session should RSVP by email to [email protected].
