Thailand visa application & processing centre opens in Ahmedabad at Cox & Kings

A Thai visa application and processing centre was inaugurated in Ahmedabad on Friday in associaton with Cox & Kings Global Services.
It will accept visa applications from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. from Monday to Friday. CKGS will provide services such as disseminating visa-related information provided and approved by the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Mumbai as well as pre-scrutiny of documents and acceptance of visa applications and passports from the general public and travel agents.
While inaugurating the centre Thailand Consul General, Mumbai, Tomvit Jarnson said in 2011, a total of 14 million tourists arrived in the form across the world, out of which 9.10 lakh tourists were Indians. Further, from western India maximum number of tourists were from Gujarat. Jarnson said that last year a total of 1.50 lakh visa applications were processed in Mumbai, out of which about 50 percent were from Gujarat.
Cox & Kings Global Services (CKGS) operates Thai Visa Application and Processing Centres in Western India across five major cities – Mumbai and Pune (Maharashtra), Ahmedabad (Gujarat), Panaji (Goa) and Indore (Madhya Pradesh).
