Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors Summits have enhanced Gujarat equity and esteem in the world:Narendra Modi

Chief Minister Narendra Modi today invited all industrialists and businessmen of the state to take maximum advantage of global success of Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors Summit (VGGIS), which has over the years created ample opportunity for trade and industry to participate in the state’s development.
Addressing a get-together of office-bearers of various chambers of commerce industries here, he recalled the ever growing participation and cooperation of the participants at VGGIS since 2003 even as the biennial event has emerged as the biggest event of its kind in India in economic and industrial matters. It is no small achievement to bring representatives from over 100 countries deliberate and exchange ideas for business under one roof.
He said that it began as an investment destination in 2003 as a pilot project which subsequently served as a catalyst for Gujarat Government to hold five more such global investors summits, leaving the industrial world wonderstruck. The event also enhances Gujarat’s equity and esteem of Gujarat and puts the state on a firm footing in the world.
Mr. Modi invited office-bearers of all GIDC and other industrial estates and businessmen from all the cities to showcase their products and services at this mega exhibition on one lakh sq. m ground. He wished each business house and factory in the state served as the extension centre of VGGIS. Looking to the pace of preparedness for VGGIS-13 within a week after the state assembly elections is a compliment to the organizers for institutionalizing the event. The function was attended by his Council of Ministers, Senior Secretaries, Captains of Industries and Business Leaders of Gujarat.
Industries Principal Secretary Maheshwar Sahu presented a curtain-raiser on VGGIS-2013.
