GIPL inks pact with BSNL:Rs.1000 Crore investment, IPTV,other VAS services across Gujarat planned

Guj Info Petro Limited, a subsidiary company of GSPC, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) for IPTV, VAS and also various telecom services across Gujarat. “The likely investment under this MoU is Rs.1000 Crore which will also generate indirect employment to more than 300 persons.” VK Sharma, CEO, GIPL stated.
GIPL is a Total Solution Provider (TSP) for majority of Government departments for software development, server hosting includes VPNs, Server Hosting, Co-location of servers, Data migration, Web Hosting, Video Conferencing, Software Solutions & Bandwidth on Demand as a category “A” ISP license holder. It is also the nodal agency/Total Solution Provider (TSP)/Apex Consultant for various government departments/organizations like GUVNL, GMDC, GIPL, Commercial Tax, Forest Department, Education Board, Agriculture Department, BECL,
“Another MOU has been signed between GIPL and M/s Cason Engineering Hungary for SCADA project for Oil and Gas Sector / Water & Leak Detection across Gujarat. The likely investment under this MoU is Rs. 100 Crores which also employ more than 250 persons.” Mr. Sharma further informed. “Also, we have signed MOU with M/s e- Procurement (LLC) for tender portal online/ reverse/ forward auction bidding platform across Gujarat. The likely investment under this MoU is Rs. 20 Crores employing 100 persons.”
GIPL has become the company of choice for IT solutions in the Forest department, Agriculture department, Education Board & Universities, Tourism Corporation, Home department, GUVNL, Commercial Tax, Gujarat Water Department, RTO and also BRTS Operations.
