Prominent BJP MPs and all Gujarat Congress MPs barring only one were absent in a meeting called by Chief Minister Narendra Modi in Gandhinagar today to discuss Gujarat’s pending issues with center. Such meeting is held once every year before the budget session of parliament.

While entire lot of Gujarat Congress MPs was represented by Rajkot MP Kunvarji Bavalia, the prominent BJP MPs absent in the meeting were LK Advani and Arun Jaitley.

Advani was in Amdavad on Friday to attend the wedding reception of industrialist Gautam Adani’s son, however he didn’t extend his visit for a few more hours to attend the meeting to discuss Gujarat’s pending issues with centre.
