Gujarat Budget 2013-14 today

Gujarat Assembly’s Budget session will kick off at noon today. Finance Minister Shri Nitinbhai Patel will present year 2012-13’s supplementary and 2013-14’s regular budget in the assembly house on first day of session.
After a gap of 11 years, Shri Nitin Patel will present the budget for second time. This is Modi government’s first budget after elected to power for third time.
In last year, Finance minister Shri Vajubhai Vala had announced Rs 410 crore tax relief in his budget and presented Rs 317.22 crore surplus budget.
The budget of year 2011-12 was Rs 81,000 crore, while year 2013-14’s budget could be approximately above Rs 1,10,000.
