The Gujarat Assembly Budget Session will end on April 2. Following are the bills that are likely to be tabled before that.
Gujarat State School Service Commission Bill 2013: It is for a new agency for centralized recruitment of government and grant-in-aid school teachers.
Gujarat Fire Prevention and Life Safety Bill 2013: It is for penal actions against those failing to ensure fire safety in buidlings.
A Bill on skill development university is likely.
Re-introduction of The Universities Laws (amendment) Bill 2013: It is for curtailing Governor’s powers in appointment and removal of Vice Chancellors of Universities.
Reintroduction of Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research and Management Bill 2012: It is to set up a new government university in Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s Maninagar constituency.
