Surat-Dumas road will get a double level flyover bridge at a cost of Rs 30.91 crore.

Surat Municipal Corporation(SMC)’s Standing Committee meeting on Friday approved the tender of this project.

Vehicles from cable stayed bridge(under construction) will come to Pal side and from lower level go to Parle point. Vehicles coming from Athwa gate will reach directly to cable stayed bridge through this over bridge. Proposed flyover bridge will be 800-900 meter in length.

In another development, Surat Municipal Corporation’s Standing Committee meeting approved construction of Bhestan railway over bridge.
