“UP will be our focus areas because there is possibility of lots of improvement here”, he said.

When asked about the Advani controversy Shah said “Advani issue is a closed chapter. We are moving ahead very fast and going to form the government in the Centre in 2014. We don’t think that we need to care about the views of the leaders of other political parties.”

“The people are fed up with the UPA government of Sonia Gandhi and Manmhohan Singh in the Centre. They have lost moral and constitutional right to continue in power. But the problem is that the UP based Samajwadi Party (SP) and the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) are happily committing the crime of supporting the UPA”, he said.

When asked about Sohrabuddin encounter case he is facing, Shah said that if CBI case is criteria, none other political party accept Congress would be able to continue in politics.

“My bail was confirmed by Justice Aftab Alam. I repeat Justice Aftab Alam. My conscience is clear and my party is backing me. It’s a clear case of CBI misuse, something which Congress is so used to,” he said.

BJP has presently 10 sitting MPs from UP including party president Rajnath Singh from Ghaziabad, Murli Manohar Joshi from Varanasi and Lalji Tandon from Lucknow.
