Four Gujaratis and their roles in new announced national team of Congress party

We wrote it last year itself that Madhusudan Mistry is among two most powerful Congress leaders from Gujarat in New Delhi. There’s a rise and rise of Madhusudan Mistry ever since Rahul Gandhi has spotted him. Madhusudan Mistry is today appointed as General Secretary in charge of Uttar Pradesh. He has been made in-charge of Congress party’s Central Election Committee with Naseeb Singh, Prakash Joshi, Rana Goswami and Zuber Khan as Secretaries under him.

As per the announcement on reconstitution of Congress working committee made today by party spokesperson Janardan Dwivedi in Delhi, Madhusudan Mistry has also been made Chairman of screening committee of Congress party for forthcoming Madhya Pradesh state assembly general elections.

Mistry played an important role in securing victory of Congress party in recently concluded Karnataka assembly polls. He is in-charge of party’s Karnataka and Kerala affairs. Mistry who is from NGO background is powered by excellent support of Church.

Another Gujarat Congress leader and party Secretary, Deepak Babaria who is in Rahul Gandhi’s team has been today put under party General Secretary Shri Mukul Wasnik along with other Secretaries Dr. G.Chinna Reddy and V.D.Satheesan to look after party affairs in Kerala, Ponducherry, Tamil Nadu and Lakshadweep.

Gujarat is represented by Ahmed Patel and Madhusudan Mistry in party’s 21 member working committee announced today.

As per the announcement, Prabha Kishore Taviad and Suraj Hegde are put under party’s Vice President Shri Rahul Gandhi to look after Frontal Organizations. Taviyad is tribal MP from east Gujarat’s Dahod Lok Sabha seat.

Amreli MLA Paresh Dhanani shall work as Secretary of the party under Shri CP Joshi as General Secretary. Dhanani, Arun Yadav, Avinash Pande, Kishore Lal Sharma and Shakeel Ahmed Khan will look after party affairs in Assam, Bihar, West Bengal and Andaman Nicobar Islands. Dhanani is young and in his early 30s. He won first assembly election in late 20s by defeating Purushottam Rupala. He lost subsequent election against Dileep Sanghani. Last year he defeated Sanghani who was at that time Agriculture minister in Modi government.

In another Gujarat related development, the charge of Gujarat affairs of Congress party shall be under Ashok Tanwar, Ashwani Sekhri, Mirza Irshad Baig and Sajjan Kumar Verma as Secretaries and Shri Gurudas Kamat as General Secretary over them.
