Dozens of youths, and possibly more in Bechraji area of north Gujarat are being duped by frauds in the name of job in Maruti Suzuki – the company which is going to set up its car manufacturing plant here. The frauds have created fake letterheads of Maruti Suzuki company, and have called local youths to Delhi for interview. The youths are asked to deposit Rs. 15,200/- (Fifteen Thousand Two Hundred rupees) draft through any State Bank of India or ICICI bank branch in A/C NO: 32347235691 of State Bank of India. The account name is: Nem Mohd Edrees.

Minister of state for Home, Gujarat Shri Rajni Patel represents this area, and he must direct district police to go into the route of these emails and nab those responsible for this act. If suspects are not nabbed, and the youths and the banks involved are not informed immediately that this is fraud, many poor youths of small villages will lost their money. It should be mentioned here that Maruti Suzuki has noticed fraud job offer scam early this year. The company has filed an FIR with the economic offence wing of Delhi Police seeking a crackdown on such frauds in last April. In the FIR filed earlier this month, the company said after the arrests of some people connected with such fake recruitment cases in February 2011, these occurrences were sporadic but it has picked up again(More on this).
