Journey on Ahmedabad-Vadodara express highway is costlier from today with revised toll tax rates in effect.

There has been a hike of 5 for motor cars, Rs. 10 for LCV, Rs. 15 for buses and trucks, Rs. 20 in multi axle. The average hike is around 8 percent.

NHAI revises the toll tax rates every year on 1st of July as per the consumer prise index. Every day around 50,000 vehicles pass through the Mahatma Gandhi express highway connecting Ahmedabad-Nadiad-Anand-Vadodara.

Ahmedabad-Vadodara toll fee was Rs. 80 earlier which is now Rs. 85. Toll tax for LCV is Rs. 140 now which was Rs. 130 earlier. Truck-bus Rs. 290 which was earlier Rs. 275. Multi axle Rs. 320 from earlier Rs. 300.
