CM to kick off Nagesh Vana project in Jamnagar district

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi will plant trees and kick off the anual Van Mahotsav at Nageshwar in Jamnagar district on 1st August.
Nageshwar is one of the two Jyotirlinga located in Gujarat. Nageshwar has a tallest murti of Gujarat featuring sitting Shiva.
Proposed Nagesh vana will be developed over five ha land by state forest department with plantation of more than 8,000 plants including 2500 trees through drip irrigation. The forest department shall develop Rashi van, Nakshatra van Panchavati van, Navagraha van, models of Kailash mountain and Man Sarovar. Food court, interpretation room, urinal blocks, and 50,000 liter underground tank are other tasks to be done while developing Nagesh van.
