Ahmedabad, 20 July 2013
Speaking on the sideline of a national level Tourism event in Ahmedabad’s Pride hotel today morning, Gujarat Tourism Minister Saurabh Patel said, “last year, nation’s Tourism growth was within 7% while Gujarat’s Tourism growth was 13% which was nearly double. This clearly shows that Gujarat’s Tourism policy has been very successful”.
“I am pained to say that Gujarat has not been included anywhere in central government’s Incredible India campaign. Lions, Gandhiji, white Rann of Kutch, Dwarka, Somnath are in Gujarat, but in entire campaign Gujarat has not been included,” he added.
