Five dams put on high alert, eight put on alert in Gujarat

Thanks to good rain in the state, five out of total 202 reservoirs are completely full. Of them four are in central Gujarat and one in south Gujarat. According to state flood control cell, 13 dams are put on high alert as they are 90% full, 8 dams are put on alert as they are 80-90% full while 2 dams are put on general alert as they are 70-80% full.
According to the state flood control cell, the level of water at Sardar Sarovar Narmada dam was 125.07 meter at 7.00 am on July 26th.
