AMC files police complaint against city Councillor

A Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation(AMC) officials have filed a complaint in Aslali police station alleging that Councillor Kalubhai Bharwad(in photo) and Devabhai Bharwad threatened a ward sub inspector with life.
The first information report claims that having specific information about illegal constructions taking place a ward Sub Inspector of Lambha(West) visited the spot on Friday. Municipal Councillor Kalubhai Bharwad and Devabhai Bharwad snatched away record from the Sub Inspector and gave him threat to life.
The AMC has decided to take strong stand and filed police complaint against Kalubhai and Devabhai in Aslali Police station (FIR no. 154/13). Police is investigating the case.
