Justice(retired) RA Mehta declines to assume Lokayukta office:Full text of his letter to Governor and Chief Justice

As per a letter circulated to media by an unknown email-id at 9.25 am today, Justice(retired) R.A.Mehta has withdrawn his consent for the appointment as the Gujarat Lokayukta and declined to assume the office. In a letter to the Governor of Gujarat and Chief Justice of Gujarat Mr. Justice Bhaskar Bhattacharya, Shri Mehta has requested to relieve him.
