Hearing on bail plea of Asaram Bapu will be held now on Wednesday at 11.00 pm. The bail plea was filed yesterday. Asaram Bapu is in judicial custody for 14 days for alleged sexual assault on a school girl. Today’s hearing went on till 4.30 pm. While Asaram’s lawyers argued today, tomorrow the govt lawyer will react and put forward his arguments. During today’s hearing Asaram Bapu’s lawyer said that complainant girl is actually not minor and therefore POCSO act is not valid in this case. Medical certificates of neurological tests of Asaram Bapu were also produced in the court by his lawyer. As further hearing is to be held tomorrow, Asaram Bapu will need to be in jail for at least 24 hours more.
