CM to inaugurate 51 Shakti Peeth Parikrama Path at Ambaji

There are 51 Shakti piths worldover. Now darshan of all Shakti Peeths will be possible at one place in Ambaji town of Gujarat.

Under the guidance of Gujarat government, Shri Arasuri Ambaji Mata Devastahan Trust has constructed replicas of 51 Shakti Peeths. Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav of 51 Shakti piths will take place during a three day event between 11-13 February. Cultural programmes will be held on 11-12 February evenings at 8.00 pm at GMDC ground. On 12 February a grand procession will be organized in Ambaji. Chief Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate newly built Shri 51 Shakti Peeth Darshan Parikrama Marg on 13 February to devotees.

These details were shared by minister of state Shri Pradipsinh Jadeja today in state capital. He said ten Shakti raths are moving across Gujarat to involve more devotees to this cause.

It should be mentioned here that the state government and Shri Arasuri Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust have build 200-bed modern hospital, expansion of Gabbar top, exhibition gallery, 3D movie show, hilium balloon, Zip line and other sports activities in recent years. The trust will soon start Sanskrit Maha Vidyalaya, and solar power project. Other projects like reconstruction of Gabbar steps, landscaping of Parikrama path, theme park of forest department, check-dam over Teliya river, Akshaypatra Bhojanalaya, solar street light on parikrama path will be kick started.

51 Shakti Peeths are located in six countries and India’s 17 states. Priest appointed for 51 shakti Peeths have been trained at respective original shakti pith. Water and soil of original shakti Peeth has been brought to Ambaji.

Ambaji witnessed 1.41 crore pilgrims in 2007-08. In 2012-13 the figure 2.30 crore. So far Rs. 122.55 crore projects are completed at Ambaji.

The task to convert Ambaji main temple’s shikhar golden is going on using 80 kg gold. The trust has already received 40 kg gold.

Various projects work Rs. 183.14 crore are going on in Ambaji including public private partnership projects.
