Five Congress workers opposing new ST station of Vadodara detained

A small group of less than 10 Congress workers staged dharna protesting against newly developed international standard State Transport(ST) bus station in Vadodara ahead of its inauguration on 14th of February by Chief Minister.
Congress workers led by Jitendra Solanki were holding a banner titled as ‘Feku depot’. They were opposing the design of indoor and outdoor gates. They said a new dept will cause traffic jam. They said it will cause flooding in Sayajiganj area. The sought sky walk connecting the ST station, VITCOS city bus-station and railway station.
They opposed a new provision of Rs. 5 platform ticket on bus-station. Police detained Jitendra Solanki, Divyesh aka Dev Patel, Abhi Shah, Pravin Padhiar – in total five Congress workers and released them in evening.
