Unseasonal showers in parts of central/southern Gujarat

There has been unseasonal rain in parts of central Gujarat and south Gujarat. Nasvadi taluka of Chhota Udepur, Bodeli, Padra, Vadodara city, Rajpipla and other places in Narmada district, part of Dang district in south Gujarat witnessed drizzle and shower on Monday evening.
In Gujarati there’s a proverb that ‘Shiv Shiv karti thandi jaay‘(winter departs uttering Shiv’s name on Shivaratri). This year Shivaratri is on 27th of February. Unexpected rain at this juncture has made atmosphere cooler.
