Surat based Veer Narmad South Gujarat University will honor film and theater artist Parsh Rawal with doctorate.

Rawal and historian Leela Swaroop will be honored with D.Litt. during University’s 45th convocation ceremony on Wednesday.

As many as 33,416 students will be given degree during the function which would be presided by Governor Dr. Kamla Beniwal.

University senate members had moved proposal to award Rawal with D.Litt. The proposal was approved by Syndicate committee members of university.
