Meghna Patel and Arvind Kejriwal

Ahmedabad, 7 March 2014

Meghna Patel was considered an average unknown small-time model in India, but last month she was suddenly in discussion. She was in news in local, national and even international dailies.

This is because Meghna posed with a lotus and a placard seeking support for BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi in a series of photographs. In one of the pictures, Meghna posed nude with a placard reading ‘vote for Narendra Modi’ covering her torso.

Meghna’s campaign was independent in style. Neither Modi nor BJP had anything to do with it, but as Modi is extremely popular across India, trolling him in unconventional way gave tremendous nationwide publicity to Meghna.

As if one season of fame was not enough, Meghna recently created a video to appeal vote for Modi. So this time it was TV media’s turn to give her attention, and as expected various channels run her video.

In you just focus on approach, Arvind Kejriwal is ditto same case. Like Meghna, Arvind too is trolling Narendra Modi for last some time, in obvious attempt to get recognition, attention, media space, publicity and fame via short cut.

So you find him writing a letter to Modi and inviting news channels to cover it, and next day you find him creating ruckus around his “arrest” that never happened – no need to mention he immediately blames Modi for that! And other day you find him blaming “Modi ji ke gunde” broke glass of his car. One more day, and one more drama, and you find him calling media persons to make an announcement on his plan to visit Narendra Modi without appointment. Soon you find road side ruckus in state capital!

This guy is literally trolling Modi for daily dose of publicity. Like Meghna, he wants the word ‘Modi’ to work as Viagra for own career. At times, Meghna’s trolling looks more decent compared to Arvind’s.

So today morning, a premier English news channel ‘Times Now’ was flashing ‘one stunt a day from AAP’ over Arvind’s Gandhinagar clip. But then Kejris of the world would not do a stunt in the Rann of Kutch or desert of Rajasthan. Kejri and AAPtards would do every stunt in front of TV cameras. So we can add 3 words to Times Now’s flash, ‘TV channels show one stunt a day from AAP’.

To sum up, strictly about Kejriwal part(and not Meghna) everything happens for good, be it Somnath Bharti dharna in Delhi or violent attack on BJP office in Delhi, be it hungama around arrest that never happened, or attempt to force meeting with India’s one of the busiest gentle men, the one good thing in this sequence is – AAP is getting exposed everyday.

Yes publicity matching with substance can make wonders, but publicity matching with lies, indiscipline, arrogance, hollowness, destructive agenda, bad intentions, hypocrisy, mental imbalance, negativity, viciousness, short-cut motives shall certainly result into flop show beyond expectation. Ask earlier anti-Modi hope icons – Sanjiv Bhatt, RB Srikumar, Zakia Jafry and many others.
