Is Gujarat fisherman Kishor Bhagwan Makwana from Kob village of Una taluka is living or dead in Pakistan?

There are now two versions, and Makwana family is confused.

On 4 February, Fisheries Commissioner, Government of Gujarat had written a letter to Makwana family informing that their family member Kishor Makwana was dead in Pakistan prison. Fisheries Commissioner had received this detail from Islamabad(Pakistan) based Indian High Commissioner via Government of India.

While Makwana’s family was awaiting his dead body from Pakistan, they received letter on 22 February from one Naranbhai Lakhmanbhai Chauhan who is in Pakistani prison. Naranbhai is from Chikhli village which is close to Makwana’s Kob village.

In his letter Naranbhai said, a fisherman from Kob village escaped Pakistani prison, but had been captured after ten months. We all are together in Pakistan’s Ladi jail.

As per this letter, Kob village fisherman could be only Kishor Bhagwan Makwana.

Una Taluka Panchayat president Rambhai Wala has requested Rajya Sabha MP Chunibhai Gohel to go into the details of this case and inquire whether Kishor Makwana is living or dead.
