Book reading by Mohammad Sagir Nazm, eminent Muslim scholar from Jamia Milia Islamia University, New Delhi and address by leading Ahmedabad based businessman Zafar Sareshwala is part of the event.

Md. Sagir Nazm is post graduate in history, political science and conflict management from Jamia Milia Islamia University, New Delhi. He is secretary of Muslim Youth for India, Chairman of Muslim for National integration and Secretary of Development Link Foundation. He has been actively involved in implementation of recommendation of Sacchar Committee report and Ranganath Mishra Commission.

Famous script writer and columinst Shri Salim Khan has said about this book: “An honest understanding of this phase of contemporary history is vital for the health of democracy and amicable inter-community relations in India. The value of Madhu Kishwar’s book ‘Modi, Muslims and Media’ lies in the fact that she has taken the trouble to actually study Modi’s tenure as the chief minister of Gujarat and gathered a wealth of evidence to show that the demonization of Modi is altogether unjustified.”
