AMC announces water supply cut this week-end

Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation(AMC) today in a statement said that evening water supply to all areas of city will be on halt for two days. The AMC statement further said morning water supply will continue, but in proportion of total available stock of water.
The AMC statement reads: due to small breach in upper part of Narmada main canal, repairing work will be carried out in next two days. Due to unavailability of enough water during that time, evening water supply will be on halt in all areas of Ahmedabad city. Morning water supply will be in proportion to available volume of water.
