BJP’s 16 LS, 5 assembly seat candidates to file nominations on Monday

As many as 16 of 26 BJP candidates for Lok Sabha elections will file their nominations on Monday, April 7th. BJP’s 5 candidates contesting assembly by-polls will also file nominations on Monday.
The reason of this rush is auspicious Gujarati calendar date of 8th day of Chaitri Navratri.
Those who are going to file nominations are the BJP candidates for Ahmedabad East, Mehsana, Panchmahal, Sabarkantha, Dahod, Anand, Surendranagar, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Porbandar, Bardoli, Surat, Navsari and Valsad.
Candidates contesting assembly by-polls on Abdasa, Himmatnagar, Somnath, Lathi and Mandvi seats will also file their nominations.
Earlier BJP’s nine Lok Sabha candidates and 2 assembly by-poll candidates have filed their nominations.
Chief Minister and BJP prime ministerial candidate Shri Narendra Modi will file nomination on April 9th at Vadodara.
