Congress’s face in Jamnagar city Jitu Lal joins BJP(Video)

Jitendra Haridas Lal, son of former Gujarat Minister Haridas Jivadas Lal(Babubhai Lal) who left Congress party on 3 April has today joined BJP.
Jitu Lal was inducted to BJP in presence of state party president Shri RC Faldu, senior leader Parshottam Rupala, Vijay Rupani among others at Gujarat BJP headquarters in Ahmedabad today afternoon.
Jitu Lal was Congress candidate from Jamnagar for the year 2007 and 2012 assembly elections. He was defeated by rival BJP candidate by narrow margin in range of 1,000 to 2,300 mainly due to sabotage by Lal’s rivals in Congress party itself.
While leaving the party Jitu Lal had said he had taken decision to resign voluntarily and would take decision on whether to join BJP, only after meeting his supporters.
Jitu Lal was Congress party’s state delegate. He has been president of chamber of commerce for six years. He is president of Lohana Mahajan, and offering his services as director in Hapa Market Yard and district cooperative bank.
