Glimpses of Vadodara campaign:

BJP prime ministerial candidate Shri Narendra Modi will be in Vadodara today to file his nomination form. Presented below are some of the latest happenings in Vadodara politics:

The entire route of Narendra Modi’s road show is two km long.

A group of local Muslims will welcome Shri Modi at Machhipith on road show route. Leading Muslims will take part in the road show.

Garba groups will play garba during Modi’s road show, a group of Brahmins will recite mantras near Brahmin market cross roads, local artists will perform in campus of Gandhinagar Gruh.

-Parking arrangements are made at Polo ground.

Police has installed barricades on Narendra Modi’s road show route. Local traders are not happy with it. When BJP leader Saurabh Patel was asked about this he said BJP had not demanded barricades.

Gujarat Congress former secretary Kirit Joshi who contested from Sayajiganj assembly seat in assembly election has joined the BJP. As soon as Joshi joined BJP, the Congress party announced his suspension for six years for indiscipline. Congress party’s incharge general secretary Shailesh Amin announced this decision. Joshi has joined BJP in support of BJP prime ministerial candidate Shri Narendra Modi who is candidate on Vadodara Lok Sabha seat this election.

BJP leader and guardian of Vadodara Lok Sabha seat Shri Saurabh Patel said that party has set target of 80% voting in all assembly segments of Vadodara Lok Sabha seat. He said this during Vijay Vishwas sammelan of Vaghodia assembly seat area. Over 100 Congress workers joined BJP during the function.

As many as 11 Chartered Accountants are giving their services to Narendra Modi in Vadodara for election expenditure details. BJP CA cell is supervising this exercise. Each assembly seat in charge communicates each day’s expenses details to CA. Details collected from 7 CAs will be audited by 3 CAs. The final report will be handed over to CA cell chief.
