This is ‘Lali’ an auto driver who slapped Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal yesterday on public road during Kejriwal’s open jeep procession. Lali did a bad job by slapping someone and it should be condemned completely. But then he was beaten badly by Kejriwal supporters which was also bad. Kejriwal didn’t jumped out of jeep to save him. It was a police man who rescued Lali from violent Kejriwal supporters. Kejriwal later went to Rajghat but didn’t utter a word of sympathy for poor auto driver who was beaten by his workers. Mahatma Gandhi had said if someone slaps you on one side of your face, turn the other one to him. Kejriwal’s stunt and symbolism of going to Rajghat and closing his eyes for an hour or so under camera focus is good, but better if he had followed the message of Mahatma Gandhi.
