Vadodara based Jay Ambe Karthik Swamy Temple(Railway station road) will celebrate 44th Panguni Uthiram Festival during 11-15 April 2014. Panguni Uthiram is a day of importance to Tamil Hindus. It falls on the day the moon transits in the asterism or nakshatram of Uttara –Panguni or Uthiram in the twelfth month of the Tamil Solar calendar. It is full moon day of the month of Panguni. Panguni Uthiram is a famous festival and it is very special to Murugan devotees.Baroda Murugan temples is very old.
