It’s getting worse day-by-day, and the next government in India will have to deal with this long pending issue that poor fishermen of Gujarat face. Pakistan Marine Security Agency(PMSA) has abducted as many as 60 Gujarat fishermen off Gujarat coast in last four days. The latest was the abduction of 24 Gujarat fishermen and four boats off Jakhau coast(3 boats belong to Porbandar, 1 belongs to Vanakbara). There’s great anger among fishermen following such frequent abductions that take place under the threat of machine gun in mid-sea in the name of violation of international maritime boundary. The fact is, there’s no boundary visibly defined in the sea.
