Do you want toffeewala or trophwala? Modi at Jharkhand(Video)

Ranchi, 15 April 2014

Following are the main highlights of BJP prime ministerial candidate Shri Narendra Modi’s speech at Hazaribaug in Jharkhand.

-Whenever I come back here in Jharkhand I see that the anger against UPA has increased. Jharkhand is determined to punish UPA.

-Forget CCTV cameras, we will ned high resolution cameras to actually find where Congress will sit in the parliament.

-I read in newspapers that PM family is unhappy with Sanjay Baru’s book. PM’s daughter said that Sanjay Baru turned out to be a traitor……this means that what he said was true.

-I may have said some hard hitting things about PM and now I feel I should not have used harsh words for our PM, after all, the main fault lies with the one family of Congress.

-People from Jharkhand came to meet me. They told me, Sardar Patel was humilated by Nehru and we congratulate you for statue of unity. Sardar Patel doesn’t belong to a party. He belongs to the entire nation and we have to honor him.

-Jayantbhai(local candidate and son of Yashwant Sinha) has worked with our government and I have found him to be a very capable youngster. He can be asset for nation. By making Jayant victorious you will give me a very strong colleague in Delhi.

-We have galaxy of leaders in BJP, each of them capable and devoted to nation building be it Yashwantji, Advaniji, Sushmaji, Jaitleyji, but look what’s happening on the other side. First they spoke of balloons now toffee toffee. I think he got tired of balloons so now toffee. I have passed the age of playing with balloons and toffees. If he gets a toffee his day is made. But in my childhood, I never even knew what a toffee is. I sold tea to make ends meet. Yes I never had toffee in my mind but I had trophies in my mind. We have won over 300 trophies be it from India or the world.

-All the works here that Atalji approved off here and are stalled we will complete. These elections are linked to the future of the youth. If this opportunity is lost there will be a wait of five years. We don’t want hospitalized government in Delhi, we want a strong government. We don’t want a remote controlled government in Delhi, but a strong one.
