In an interview to Eeconomic Times, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani has said that the BJP is billed for the use of the aircraft hired from Adani group.

ET: Narendra Modi frequently flies in your aircraft. This has become a major issue. What is your response on that?

Gautam Adani: We have a separate business unit for aviation. The BJP has hired the aircraft from us and is billed for the use.

Adani said since 1993, different political parties in power in Gujarat allotted land owned by the government to his group after assessing the need and complying with all procedural requirements. Adani group has not received any concession in land allotment. The said land was absolutely barren and unfit for agricultural activity. Adani pointed out that he developed the land investing Rs. 50,000 crore. He said his group functions in various states including Maharashtra and Haryana and gets excellent support from the governments.
