Following Ahmed Patel’s dharna threat, sub inspector transferred, district police officer also shifted

The Election Commission has granted Rajya Sabha MP Ahmed Patel’s demand and transferred police sub inspector. The ECI has also transferred a district police chief. Ahmed Patel had threatened dharna today if his demands were not accepted.
Early this week, during his visit to Sagbara, Ahmed Patel demanded transfer of Sagbara police sub inspector Manubhai Bharwad for his alleged nexus with top bootlegger and his political bias evident in his actions. Ahmed Patel wrote to election commission for action against the police man.
In reaction, just in two days, the Election Commission has transferred PSI Bharwad to Police Training School(Vadodara). In another development the Election Commission has transferred Narmada district police chief Pravin Mal to Crime Branch in Vadodara. Mal has been replaced with Jaypalsinh Rathore.
