Gujarat High Court rejects PIL against state sops to Tata Nano plant

The Gujarat High Court today rejected a Public Interest Litigation(PIL) against government sops to Tata Nano car manufacturing plant.
The court has validated loan policy which is pushing industrial development. The court observed that other states too adopt such policy for industrial development. Following Nano, the state has attracted further investment which has contributed to development of that area.
The court has found nothing wrong in state government’s loan to Tata Nano plant.
