Delhi Police team to visit Surat to study CCTV project

A team of Delhi Police headed by Special Commissioner of Police (Operations) S. Sundari Nanda and technical team of Deputy Commissioner of Police (Communication) Naved Mumtaz will be on one day visit to Surat, the second largest city of Gujarat to study the CCTV cameras project which has been executed through the public-private partnership(PPP) model. Delhi has its CCTV network but only the government funds it. Last week, Delhi government team visited Ahmedabad’s Sabarmati River Front project to get inputs for Yamuna river development plan.
