General Motors to increase vehicle prices by one percent

Automobile manufacturer General Motors Monday said it will increase product prices by one percent across all categories from Jan 1.
“We have decided to increase the price of all car models to the tune of one percent with effect from Jan 1 due to input cost pressure,” said P. Balendran, vice president, General Motors India.
The quantum of price increase will range from Rs.5,000 to Rs.20,000 depending upon the vehicle model.
