Moisture from sea and clouds vanish heat wave completely

Strong Westerly and South Westerly winds bringing moisture from the Arabian sea and pre monsoon clouds hovering over many places has vanished the heat wave from Gujarat completely though the feeling of humidity has somewhat increased.
Temperatures today further came down owing to the above mentioned reasons, Director of the Met Center in Ahmedabad, Jayant Sarkar said.
Ahmedabad with the further de-escalated maximum temperature of 41.5 degree Celsius remained hottest place in the state.
The maximum temperature at various places during last 24 hours was as following-
AHMEDABAD 41.5 RAJKOT 39.9 DEESA 40.4 GANDHI NAGAR 41 SURENDRANAGAR 41 V.V. NAGAR 39.6 VADODARA 38.8 BHUJ 37.2 SURAT 34.6 BHAVNAGAR 41.1 AMRELI 39.3 IDAR 39.7 VV NAGAR 40.8.
