‘click my photo’:Two real stories of motherhood(Gujarati mp3)
Introduction:
In this episode, two real stories are presented. Writer has narrated his two experiences when stranger ladies requested him to take their photos. Both stories actually start from common sentence ‘Hello,if you can please click my photo from your camera’, eventually turn towards a same tragedy;’twist in a life’ and lastly end in a same message too; ‘Power of motherhood’.
Details:
One of the activities at DeshGujarat is to collect old, vanishing, out of print Gujarati books which are really worth and are so special that we Gujarati people can not afford to loose them.
For this cause, DeshGujarat visits ‘Gujari bazaar’ in Ahmedabad, frequently and scan the old-discarded book selling area there, in search of such books. DeshGujarat is proud owner of some hundred books of this kind.
Some books are so wonderful that they deserve reprint, but it is a costly affair and even after reprint, selling them may be another problem area. In such circumstances audio book can be the answer.
‘Haiye mandi Haatadi’ was the book written by late Shri Dr. Haribhai Godani in 1980. The book is no more available anywhere for last several years and DeshGujarat fetched it from ‘Gujari market’. This book has amazing documentation and real as well as folk stories which were written after hard field work by writer.
DeshGujarat.com is trying to republish this book’s some wonderful chapters in audio mp3 format. Here is one of the chapters from this book which has two stories. Simplicity and touch of emotion in these two stories attracted DeshGujarat to choose them to convert in audio book.

aa vartao aavti raakhjo…haiyyu saachej bhari aave chhe, ne thoda samay maate janaati bhasha ane ajaanya shabdo seekhvano prayaas karva male chhe. Hu non gujarati chhu, pan maari uchher vadodara ma thayi, etle potaani jaatne thodi ghani gujarati ganu chhu khari….
Haji ek vaat kahish…end ma tame je ‘deshgujarat.com’ gao chhe, te geet badli do ne…e tamari site ni spirit ne jharaay suit thatu nathi!! Jyan gujarati sanskruti ni vaat thaay chhe, tyaan synthesiser bahaar jaay e vadhaare gamshe….ane saachu kahu toh, chhele geet ni jaroor nathi…tamaru vinamra namaskar, e vadhaare strong signature chhe tamari kala ane tamara prayaas nu.

Right now i am pursuing my master in USA. After coming here, i realized each and every minute things about my parents specifically my mother…that was really a touching story….just remind me some of my things…also thanks to u for bringing such a deep and touching story along with a moral in front of us especially in gujarati….proud to be a gujarati
