Arvind Rathod as Devipujak: Gujarati film’s Comedy Song(Video)
This is the song from film ‘Dholo Mara Malakno’, one of the best Gujarati films that were released in recent years. Well, the hero of this film was Maniraj Barot, so impact of his style of music was visible in the songs and music of this film. This song has also somewhat we can say Maniraj Barot impact. It’s actually a comedy song performed by the great Gujarati actor Arvind Rathod along with Bhavini Jani.
The song was framed in a flavor of Ahmedabad’s slums dominated poor and backward Devipujak samaj’s backdrop. IN the course of this song, there is little glimpse of Maniraj’s super hit song ‘Hey mari lili te pagh no fumto…’ Maniraj Barot was used to dance exactly in a same style as Arvind Rathod dances.

પાછલા કેટલાક વર્ષોમાં આવેલી સારામા સારી મનોરંજક ગુજરાતી ફિલ્મોની યાદી બનાવીએ તો ફિલ્મ ઢોલો મારા મલકનો ચોક્કસ તેમાં ટોચના ક્રમે આવે.મણિરાજ બારોટ આ ફિલ્મના હીરો હતા. ફિલ્મના સંગીત પર મણિરાજ બારોટ છવાયેલા હતા. આ પ્રસ્તુત ગીત જુઓ. એમાં ગુજરાતી ફિલ્મના સારામા સારા અભિનેત કહી શકાય એવા શ્રી અરવિંદ રા� ોડ બહુ મજાથી નાચે છે અને અમદાવાદની ઝૂંપડપટ્ટીમાં વસતી ટીપિકલ ગરીબ દેવીપૂજક પ્રજાના માણસનો અભિનય કરે છે.
અરવિંદ રા� ોડના આ જ ફિલ્મમાંથી બીજા બે સીન દેશગુજરાત પર અન્યત્રે મોજૂદ છે એનો આનંદ પણ આપ જરૂરથી લો. આ ઉપરાંત ગુજરાતી ફિલ્મોના પંચોતેર વર્ષ પૂરા થવા નિમિત્તે અમદાવાદમાં યોજાયેલા ભવ્ય કાર્યક્રમના વિડિયો અને ઓડિયો દેશગુજરાત પર મૂકેલા છે તેની પણ ચોક્કસ મજા લો. રમેશ મહેતાના ઓડિયો વિડિઓ તો છેજ.
ગુજરાતી ફિલ્મોનું જે કંઈ શ્રેષ્� છે તેની ઝલક દેશગુજરાત પર આગળ પણ આપતા રહીશું. આશય એ જ છે કે બૌદ્ધિક ગુજરાતીઓમાં ચાલી પડેલી એવી અર્ધી સાચી પણ અર્ધી ખોટી વાતનુંમહેણું ભાંગવું કે ગુજરાતી ફિલ્મોમાં કશું સારુ હોતું જ નથી, બનતું જ નથી. જય ગુજરાત.
