I would prefer some other leader for my Gujarat… who cares about people and who has good backgroud history….very imporatant to open everybody’s eyes and not to forgive Modi for anything ……. We all know in there has been few things happened with gujarat in his lead,but why people are just being stick to it? Cant they see the other stuffs. What do u know the progress the GUJARAT has done in last 7-8 years? If it has been a nation, it could be the 67 Richest country in the world, which is ahead of many european n asian countries.
The growth in the power ,pharmasutical and petro chemical sectors has been tremendous since last few year. Gujarat is exporting around 45% of this entire india in this segment.
Who has held the summits in gujarat till now? who has attracted the so many investors in gujarat? He is the person who taught the value of time to the govt officers n forced to let them work rather just sitting on the bunch of files.
You are telling that Modi is RAVAN. Can i know from you, who is the next person to lead Gujarat n is such Powerful who can fight with the dispute of opposion n still make the progess???

At a first glance it seems that Gandhi is being paid to write against Modi (lol!!) because when Mitesh stopped arguing Mr. Gandhi was still busy drawing Modi as Ravana! No hard feelings please. It would have seemed similar to anyone who read this conversion!

I don’t think of any face who can lead our great state Gujarat except Narendra Modi as on date. Also it’s certainly not like we don’t have other good alternative available so we have to support Modi.
Gandhi, you just need to understand the difference between Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Patel and everything would be so easier for you to digest then. Don’t just cry taking riots but consider a lot of other fabulous things had ever been done during Modi’s duration as a CM of Gujarat.
Gujarat is still a safe, sound, prosperous, no 1 to invest and highly rich state. Gandhi, for your kind information, Gujarat has overtaken the fastest growing state’s place from Maharashtra during Modi’s tenure. It’s not like that Gujarat’s people have become so powerful in a flash. They have been so powerful since ages but needed a strong leader like Modi. Please don’t involve media as I am dishearten to say that nowadays media has just become a group of people who are solely interested in increasing the TPR of their news channels and so by their bank balances. You know media has already failed forecasting election results for last couple of times, regretted over news that they published in hurry! and now not trustable anymore. If Aishwarya Rai comes back from France to her home in India it becomes news. If Shahrukh Khan changes his underwear brand it becomes news. If Rakhi Sawant is known to be already married, it becomes hot news. Well, who cares for this! Has this ever made any difference to us? In fact now news channels have become 24 hours backwas so they have to keep finding crap news all the time, scheduling interviews with celebrities or people in limelight, ask stupid questions to interviewees and try to make the interviewees feel embarrassed, ashamed in front of all the world! When a person like Narendra Modi walks out from the interview, Karan Thaper feels like winning a Noble prize!! A very ignominious practice that is started being followed by every news channel. God knows why there is no ban on things like these perhaps it’s an adverse effect of democracy.
UN is neutral! Go back in history and watch out for a numerous cases of partiality implemented by UN where majority of the decisions or ideas implemented by UN are in favor of US and UK. It’s world known that UN is no way Neutral. Why are you so prone to believe what UN has found out about Gujarat riots and Modi and not what majority of the Gujarati people have to say about that! Consider examples of Afghanistan and Iraq where UN had nothing to say because that goddamn riots were led by Uncle Sam!! Poor UN

I am sure if you come out of your negative attitude toward Modi and try to think neutrally, you, like millions of Gujarati people, would get to know who started the riots! I can be from the people who can offer his second cheek to have a slap on it after having it on his first cheek like what Mahatma Gandhi has said but definitely not someone who can stay still waiting for the fire brigade to come when his house is on fire or waiting for police to come when being banged by someone on my head or waiting for social workers like Tista Shetalwad to come when my family members are dying of hunger and hopeless without shelter. In all such cases I believe I must stand up and do the needful immediately. This is what actually had been done!
No state of India has a powerful CM like Narendra Modi as on date. Accept the truth and think out of box.

NOW… Mr Gandhi, as you said this site is open for all…just think and revisit the diologues till now on the web…except yourself everybody is in favour of Modi…
Let me correct you on your point that the state has progressed because of people and not becuase of politics… Mr Gandhi, This Modi has made Gujarat’s all villages linked with power supply and that too 24 hours uninterrupted power… Dear brother this only work also can make Modi win the election… Modi on the inaugaration of this Jyoti Gram project had told that we will complete the project in 1000 days….And by the end of 998′s day, the project was completed…. thousnads of poles (more than 56000) lakhs of kilometeres electric wiers …all these tasks could not have completed in 1000 days if Modi was not there.
I am working in development sector, do you know Mr Gandhi that in year 2002 we had more than 70 tankers only in Kutch district for water supply? In all across the state, we had more than 800 tankers for water supply…everyday the villagers were provided water through tankers…one can imagine that this everyday actually speaking is once in a while!!!!

First of all we need to understand that Mr. Modi is not Gujarat. As a educated person whe is really interested in progress of gujarat can never support Mr. Modi.
I dont think that whatever good think we are enjoying is given by modi and all bad things given by Congress.

-Curruption
If Modi is a God. why he is not doing anything for curruption. In all Govt office it is a tradition kind of thing to pay money for Cha-Pani. At least modi has seen curruption of Traffic Police
-Higher Education (after 12th all seats become payement seats)
Now it is too dificult for all middle class people to send their children for higher education like engineering becouse Modi’s govt has given full permission to owner of self-financed colleges to sell their education.
-No big industry came in gujarat in last 5-6 years.
we are viewing the progress of gujarat just because it was started before 10 years. Gujarat is progressing by the rate of 10% per year so the actuall progress started long back and Modi hasn’t play any role for this.
- Modi is politision. he is saying that give the work of ramsetu project to guj govt. we will finish it without damaging the actual Ram Setu.
I think, before doing false claim modi need to solve basic gujarati problems like big holes in rode, gutter problems in each city… i can have long list.. even every body can think about it.

No state is perfect but Gujarat seems to be standing far ahead from others. We are not blindly supporting Modi. Learn to look at bright side of the things.
No political leader can become Ram and in fact who expects that is not an educated person. Count positive vs negative. If positives are high than negatives then you can at least rely upon that person who has been worrying about the state except his power and party. Who in the Congress party seems to be a better leader than Modi? No one.
**Curruption
– Right from our independence and the first ruling government of Gujarati people, corruption has been a major issue for all political parties. You must be knowing that during Modi’s tenure he has been trying a lot to reduce corruption and sarkari babus’ manmani and that is the only reason why Modi is not favorite among other corrupted ministers, Sarkari babus and his party as well!!!
Things like corruption will definitely take time to go away and it’s not mere Modi’s responsibility to vanish it completely. Think who does the corruption – traffic police, police, government officers. Most of them are common people like us but they are damn selfish but have nothing to do with any political party. –This is not a bit true. Gujarat is having more than 10 Government Engineering Colleges where higher education is absolutely free. (around rs 800 per semester). Self finance colleges definitely charge high and that’s why they are self financed!
HB, have you ever been to Pune/Blore? Cities like them have more engineering colleges than that of total of whole Gujarat state. But no goddamn engineering college offers free education. These are the institutes who offer degrees to the rich students just for the sake of it and emptying their pockets by taking a lot of money. You perhaps would be knowing that Gujju guys who secure 40% to 45% in HSC opt to go outside Gujarat and take admissions in such colleges in Karnataka, Maharashtra etc just for the degree!!

Being in IT industry I can give you a few names that makes your claim false. During Modi’s tenure IT giants like TCS, Microsoft, Cybage have started their operations in Gandhinagar. Modi has sent out invites to all the IT majors to start their operations in serene and prosperous state like Gujarat and offered them land in SEZs even. Many of them have responded positively and you will see good results in near future. This is just an example and I am sure if you go ahead and TRY TO LOOK AT BRIGHT SIDE, you can find other such cases in other industries.

Thanks for accepting some of my comments. I think being a gujarati we need to think and discuss any thing just on solid facts. As i have given some facts in last posting, i hope you have read them and thought about it.
Being a gujarati, I am intrested in great progress of gujarat and want that gujarat shuld be able to have competttion with US, Japan. Gujarat have caliber of it but something is going wrong so we are laging.
Whenever we say that gujarat is 1st, or in top five. we need to think about we are compering our self with other states of india. If we compare ourself with Bihar and UP, obviously we found ouself great. But i think we need to compare ourself with any state based on Proper statstics.
I dont like mentality of some people when they support somebody, they just look his positive side and give other suggestion to keep POSITIVE ATTITUDE. I can not do like this becouse when we want to judge anybody we should think in both the side. POSITIVE as well as NAGATIVE.
We have election in near future and this election will have great effect in the future of gujarat. if we select wrong person or wrong party then in futute we need to repent.

As per my information we have a special dept to reduce Curruption known as ACB(Anti Curruption Buro). This comes under the State Govt. The responsibility of ACB is to catch currupt officer. ACB set trap to catch currupt people. But In the tenure of 5 years no body knows “HOW MANY CASES FILED BY ACB ?” As a CM of gujarat what he did to reduce such curruption ?

All of the points above are general issues and I don’t agree on not supporting Modi for any of those reasons. That’s what I wrote in my comments. No matter what party is ruling these issues will always be there. But you can make the difference between who is supporting them and who is trying to curb them.
You don’t have any reason not to support Modi because the issues you counted are really general and exists since ages. For most of them Modi is not the reason behind. I must repeat my statement that TRY TO LOOK AT THE BRIGHT SIDE OF THE THINGS. You can refer to one of my comments I posted some time back to look at what Modi has done for Gujarat.
IT companies in Gujarat have started their operations only after giving full guarantee from Modi government for support. And I heard yet many others have acquired lands in SEZ and soon set off. We can always go back to our homeland after that. Yes Microsoft has started sales operations already as per the best of my knowledge. And TCS too during Modi’s tenure only.
You know Keshubhai who doesn’t speak Hindi well, English is far away from his reach. Do we want that kinda leader?
Or you know Shankarsinh Vaghela who can commit anything for money? Do you remember Khajuraho case? Do we want that kinda leader?
Modi is the best option for Gujarat as on date. You have to be in the system to change the system. Modi is certainly doing that. Now no one can reap the fruits on the other day after sawing them. For getting fruits it is a must to wait patiently. Modi is busy making Gujarat more vibrant and shining. We must support him to bring about drastic changes in all worst scenarios.

Everyone knows we Gujjus are generally peace loving people but we certainly reflect when we are hurt. Look back toward history. No riots were started by Hindus. We only responded. What could be the worst than that you don’t feel secure in your state and your country? You know the Muslim Ghetto areas in cities like Ahmedabad, Baroda and Surat where Hindus afraid to enter in daylight even. My God!
What did you expect Modi and Gujju people should have done? How would have you reflected if your loved ones were in that coach of Sabarmati Express?
We Gujju people never hesitated sharing our bite with others whenever needed. Take examples of Kargil or Earthquake or even Tsunami. But what have we been getting in response? Peanuts or Bullshit! You know during the raid made by police during riots, cops collected rocket launchers from Juhapura area? What they were there for? Is this the way to show integrity and patriotism towards the place they are living in? Name the notorious dons having underworld connection in the history of Gujarat state – Rashid Latif, Salim Hathela, Fazlur Rehman, Dawood Ibrahim, Abu Salem, Sohrabuddin and the list goes on. Hey why isn’t there any Hindu name we recollect at all? Do you have you any answer?
You have any idea what the Muslim children learn in Madresas? The Mullas fill them up with hatreds towards Hindus and Hindustan right from childhood. Their preachers order them to produce as many children as they can warning them that more people needed to fight the battle against Hindus!! Ultimately they poor children who don’t have any idea about religion or ethics start feeling that they have born on the earth to fight and kill non-Muslims only.
I have Muslim friends and I never have had problems getting on well with them till date. Why you know. Because they are all educated, they know what is good and bad for them. They have gone to schools and colleges instead Madresas. But unfortunately not all of them are like that. The people who indulges into riots and have fun in them are really a few but they inspire others to do that and wash their minds. And parties like Congress is always ready to take advantage of them. As long as anyone, no matter who is, a Muslim or a Christian or a man from any religion, readies to respect Hinduism and believe in live and let live concept, we don’t have any problems otherwise….

In this year, according to BUSINESS TODAY servey Gujarat is No.1 state in investment which hold’s more then 21% of investment done in INDIA!! They didn’t emphasis on this news on their chennel. In the same period of time when one child is kidnapped in Surat,all the media shows that news continuously 2 days and asking modi to resign!!!!!. The People of Gujarat knows that what is going on in Gujarat who is right and who is wrong. one more thing I would like to say that yesterday I watched gujarati news they are asking about election to the people who belongs to small villages. One news reporter went to one farm and asked to a farmer that who will win this match of election you can’t believe this but farmer firmly reply that Modi will win. Reporter say’s what’s reason then he told after 5year’s first time I have got water for my crop in summer.Even reporter was suprised with his answer because he believed this guy didn’t know anything about election.

You are absolutely correct. I second your opinion. English news channels and newspapers especially have been proving hell for Gujarat state and Gujarati people for last five years. They have left no stone unturned in drawing ill image of Modi and Gujarati people in front of the country and world.
If they only want masala kinda absurd news to keep their TRP high then there are total 28 states and 7 union territories in India. I can’t think of any reason except they are not happy with the progress of Gujarat and Gujaratis or they are being supported by Congress UPA governement for doing such irrational and unreasonable things.

I am appalled that a journalist from well known media such as Associated Press has not done his homework in writing an article. It looks as though this journalist succumbed to the sections of Indian media that is biased. Here are misrepresentations in his article:
1) What is his basis that 59 Hindus were killed when the train car bursts into flame. So, why were people convicted for gruesome act? So, is Indian judiciary a farce?
2) In the riots that ensued, how many riots have happened all over the world. What about riots in Los Angeles when African Americans took up on Asians. What about Pakistan and all over the world. Now, how many were killed in the riots? There were Muslims killed 790, Hindus killed 254, wounded 2500 in all and missing 223. Police killed (in first 3 days) 61 Hindus and 41 Muslims. There were 40,000 Hindus in Hindu relief camp. So, who killed rest of Hindus?
3) “RSS was influenced by German Fascism”. I challenge Mr. Sam Dolnick to provide the basis for this. Until I came to US three decades ago (from India) I have not even heard of RSS. But I know more about RSS than Mr. Sam. Please read the history of India. RSS is in response to the brutal history of Islamic conquest that American Historian Will Durant called the most bloodiest in the history of mankind. When Ali Jinnah called the Direct Action Day, thousands of Hindus were killed which was also responded by Hindus. Just see in Pakistan today where the population of Hindus which stood at 10 million in 1947 has come down to 1.7 million at present, while the muslims in India rose from 30 million at 1947 to 150 million. Half million Kashmiris Hindus were thrown out of their state and staying in squalid camps for last 12 years. Around 19,000 died due to Islamic terrorism. Does Hindus have any rights? Would Sam care to speak for the dyings. Perhaps, if one is not a Christian or a Muslim, he is a sub-human that can have little right to self expression or self protection. After all, any revolt or rise for African American slaves was suppressed with the utmost thoroughness throughout Western Civilization and Hindus expressing themselves have to thoroughly suppressed.
4) If Mr. Sam covered the last or even before Punjab Elections, has he ever cared to raise the issue of 3000 Sikhs (three times more than Godhra) and perpetrated by current Congress leaders. Union Minister Kamal Nath roasted alive two sikhs right in front of Lok Sabha. My friend, Sam, this is political based killings. If there is truth in Mr. Modi’s indifference to suppressing the riots, it is only aftermath of a brutal incident before that.
India has generated shameless journalists who think that Hindu bashing and suppressing majority will give those accolades and make them look great people. Just in last three years under the vote bank politics thousands of innocent people (mostly Hindus) were killed by Islamic fundamentalists encouraged by shameless vote bank politics. When Mumbai train bombings selectively killed Gujarathi businessmen, the Central government was concerned if police will be harsh at squalid Muslim quarters looking for suspects. This Government is so concerned for hard core terrorists and criminals such as Afzal Guru and Sohrabuddin but not the terrorist victims. Does Hindus life matter or is there any value to it? But who is Sohrabuddin, here it is my friend:

I’m shocked and surprised that a lot of people here have just flung mud at other folks, showing their own prejudices and esp. talking about doing violence to others…what kind of people are these? We Gujjus use the name of Gandhiji as if he’s our property, that somehow by association we will be pardoned for our sins. We’ve already seen the results of Hindu/Muslim antagonism. We should never repeat that.
To me, the biggest Ravan is IGNORANCE, which breeds all else – poverty, prejudice, false pride, pollution, corruption, greed, violence, hate and much more.

the people of Gujarat who are not going for voting. as specially new generation. if they are aware about their own responsibility and support good people then no ravan can exist against Gujarat. let we also try to support good people and try our level best together for gujarat and india..

At a first glance it seems that Gandhi is being paid to write against Modi (lol!!) because when Mitesh stopped arguing Mr. Gandhi was still busy drawing Modi as Ravana! No hard feelings please. It would have seemed similar to anyone who read this conversion!
My two cents – Gandhi & Mitesh:

I don’t think of any face who can lead our great state Gujarat except Narendra Modi as on date. Also it’s certainly not like we don’t have other good alternative available so we have to support Modi.
Gandhi, you just need to understand the difference between Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Patel and everything would be so easier for you to digest then. Don’t just cry taking riots but consider a lot of other fabulous things had ever been done during Modi’s duration as a CM of Gujarat.
Gujarat is still a safe, sound, prosperous, no 1 to invest and highly rich state. Gandhi, for your kind information, Gujarat has overtaken the fastest growing state’s place from Maharashtra during Modi’s tenure. It’s not like that Gujarat’s people have become so powerful in a flash. They have been so powerful since ages but needed a strong leader like Modi. So I am sorry to say I can’t agree with you and vote for Congress which is just a bunch of people wandering around for power and money considering only minorities’ problems and blindly opposing all steps taken by ministry as their regular agenda. In fact they don’t care for a lot of problems faced by majorities in just arguing in tandem for the problems of minorities!!
Please don’t involve media as I am dishearten to say that nowadays media has just become a group of people who are solely interested in increasing the TPR of their news channels and so by their bank balances. You know media has already failed forecasting election results for last couple of times, regretted over news that they published in hurry! and now not trustable anymore. If Aishwarya Rai comes back from France to her home in India it becomes news. If Shahrukh Khan changes his underwear brand it becomes news. If Rakhi Sawant is known to be already married, it becomes hot news. Well, who cares for this! Has this ever made any difference to us? In fact now news channels have become 24 hours backwas so they have to keep finding crap news all the time, scheduling interviews with celebrities or people in limelight, ask stupid questions to interviewees and try to make the interviewees feel embarrassed, ashamed in front of all the world! When a person like Narendra Modi walks out from the interview, Karan Thaper feels like winning a Noble prize!! A very ignominious practice that is started being followed by every news channel. God knows why there is no ban on things like these perhaps it’s an adverse effect of democracy.
UN is neutral! Go back in history and watch out for a numerous cases of partiality implemented by UN where majority of the decisions or ideas implemented by UN are in favor of US and UK. It’s world known that UN is no way Neutral. Why are you so prone to believe what UN has found out about Gujarat riots and Modi and not what majority of the Gujarati people have to say about that! Consider examples of Afghanistan and Iraq where UN had nothing to say because that goddamn riots were led by Uncle Sam!! Poor UN

I am sure if you come out of your negative attitude toward Modi and try to think neutrally, you, like millions of Gujarati people, would get to know who started the riots! I can be from the people who can offer his second cheek to have a slap on it after having it on his first cheek like what Mahatma Gandhi has said but definitely not someone who can stay still waiting for the fire brigade to come when his house is on fire or waiting for police to come when being banged by someone on my head or waiting for social workers like Tista Shetalwad to come when my family members are dying of hunger and hopeless without shelter. In all such cases I believe I must stand up and do the needful immediately. This is what actually had been done!
No state of India has a powerful CM like Narendra Modi as on date. Accept the truth and think out of box.

there was a bit tough opinion of every one rearding who is the real ravana for the gujarat. i think u can’t blame one person for that. i think the real ravana’s for gujarat from last 2-3 years be the anti-modi group for sure. inspite of there millions of efforts congress lose the election. what i am thinking at this stage is may be in the next election congress will not even do campaign for election in gujarat. Modi tought them a real lesson. may be in some cases modi is wrong as mr. gandhi explained earlier,but at the same time he is been selected as a best CM in the country for several times. everything in the world has a adv and disadvantage. what we have to see is the what are the positive side of it. and if u see the development of guj. within last 5-6 years with the leadership of Mr. Modi , i am sure that u get the correct answer.
